Terms of Service

By downloading or using JIKARA you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use JIKARA.

Use JIKARA for personal language learning. Do not misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, access it through unauthorised means, or use it to harass other learners in social features.

You retain ownership of the speaking transcripts and messages you create. You grant us a limited licence to process and store that content solely to operate and improve the learning features you use.

Some features may require a paid plan. Where offered, subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to their billing and cancellation terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription from your store account at any time.

We work hard to keep JIKARA available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties. We may update, suspend or discontinue features over time.

To the extent permitted by law, JIKARA and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
